Biography

Renegade Five started in 2007 in Karlstad Sweden and landed their first record deal later that year. Within one year they were nominated on The Swedish Rock Awards and Bandit Rock Awards as the 2008 break-through artist of the year!

They released their debut album “Undergrounded Universe” in February 2009, and it debuted at number eight. The single “Running in Your Veins” was the most played and requested song on Bandit Rock, the largest rock station chain in Scandinavia! The year 2009 ended up with a grammy nomination in the category “new rock”

Members are:

Per Lidén – Guitar: With more than 15 Gold and platinum records behind him, is a strong force behind the writing.

Daniel Johansson – Lead Vocals: With a unique voice that brings both smooth and aggressive character to the music.

Marcus Nowak – Drums: Former drummer in the Swedish major rock band “Lambretta”, producer and a key factor to the sound of Renegade Five.

Håkan Fredriksson – Keyboards, Producer: He was ‘behind the wheels’ for bands like “Within Temptation” and others.

Jimmy Lundin – Bass: A great multitalented musician.

Renegade Five second album was recorded this last winter with new names involved, like Roberto Laghi  (producer of In Flames, Mustasch etc.). This has taken the band one step further and has brought more edge to the production!

The first single ALIVE was released April 29th, and look for the album release this fall.
